The Bi-Metal Hacksaw Blades are manufactured from two different steels and then welded together. The body of the blade is made from spring steel providing flexibility and virtually a shatterproof blade. The teeth of the blade are manufactured from HSS (High Speed Steel) providing the best possible cutting capabilities to handle the toughest materials. The blades are 12" in length and ½" wide. They are available in 18, 24, and 32 TPI (Teeth per inch).
Bi-Metal Reciprocating Blades are made by the same process used in the manufacture of the Bimetal Hacksaw blades. They are designed to work with the reciprocating power tools using the universal ½" shank. There are many sizes and different TPI (Teeth per inch) devised for different materials. As a general rule of thumb the lower the TPI the softer the material it is designed to cut. The blades are available from 6" to 12" in length and in 6,10,14,18 and 24 TPI.
Our Bi-Metal Holesaw Blades are manufactured from two different steels and then welded together by edge electron welding. The body of the blade is made from spring steel and the teeth of the blade are made from M3 HSS (High Speed Steel) in a variable pitch design. This provides the best possible cutting capabilities in the toughest materials.( Fractional Sizes from 9/16" to 6" in diameter ). Accesories as Arbors, Pilot Drill and Extensions are available in 1/4" / 3/8" / 1/2".
