Our Masonry Step Drill bit is designed to provide a one step hole drilling for the installation of 1/4-20 Machine Screw Anchor ( Lead Anchor ). These anchors are widely used for the Hurricane Panel Installation that is now mandatory for new construction in South Florida. The shank of the drill has three flat sides to provide positive grip between the pilot drill and the 1/2" outer drill. The Carbide tips are copper brazed to provide maximum strength and wear resistance. Each drill has a sanded grey finish.(1/4" pilot drill / 1/2" Outer drill).
The Sidewalk Bolt Driver is an oversized slotted driver designed for the oversized head of Sidewalk Bolt used for the Hurricane Panel Installation. The Drivers are made from industrial grade Chrome Vanadium Tool Steel. The rugged single piece construction stands up under constant use. Each driver has a sanded grey finish with no sharp edges.
The Deep Socket Nut Driver is 3/8" special nut driver that provides clearance for the new type of concrete screws that have a 1/4 -20 stud protruding from the head. These screws are a new system for the installation of Hurricane Panels. The Drivers are made from industrial grade Chrome Vanadium Tool Steel and have a sanded grey finish with no sharp edges.
